Psychotherapy in West London and online

What I work with

I work with a range of issues, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, abuse, illness, bereavement and loss, discrimination and oppression, workplace problems, family and relationship problems, identity conflicts, and life transitions. I support clients in finding meaning, belonging and purpose.

What you will find

I offer a confidential space where whatever you bring to therapy is welcomed in its own time, without judgement.

With open-minded curiosity, we pay attention to the thoughts and feelings that are often drowned out by daily responsibilities, social pressures and survival-mode thinking.

With careful listening, we encounter your own insightful awareness and make room for your authentic self-expression and creativity. We rely on these innate resources to guide the healing process.

About me

I have a Master of Science in Humanistic Psychotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling, both from the Metanoia Institute in London.
I'm a qualified Alexander Technique teacher and I have studied and practised meditation and yoga throughout my life. My previous professional background is in Education, Research and International Development.

Qualifications: BA (Hons), M.Ed, PG Dip (MSTAT), PG Dip (MBACP), MSc.

I’m a Registered Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and I’m bound by its Ethical Framework.

I'm committed to my own continuing professional development. Examples of recent CPD courses are:

Foundations of the Internal Family Systems model (Certificate of Professional Recognition) - IFS Institute

Jungian and Post-Jungian Clinical Concepts - Centre for Applied Jungian Studies

The psychophysiology of PTSD and trauma: How can we make trauma therapy safer?

- Babette Rothschild

Working relationally with attachment and traumatic bonding - Christiane Sanderson
